To mark International Museum Day, the First Aliyah Museum invites you to a moving cinematic evening that connects past, memory, and identity.

The Brazilian documentary “Promised Lands” tells the story of the Baroness and Baron Hirsch, who worked at the end of the 19th century to support Jews from Eastern Europe seeking hope, freedom, and a new beginning.

At the First Aliyah Museum, which tells the story of the first Jewish colonies in the Land of Israel with the support of Baron Rothschild, the film gains a special meaning: two different paths, one timeless Jewish dream of home and future.
