Dor Habonim Nature Reserve
An easy 2.5 km hiking trail, suitable for the whole family. Duration: About 2 hours The trail starts at the Habonim Beach parking lot, in the direction of Dor.
This nature reserve has many charming coves where you can spend romantic moments or find the perfect spot for a family picnic and watch the sunset. Enjoy some of the most beautiful strips of beach in Israel, clear water, amazing coral beds, sand dunes strewn with sea shells at Seashell Cove, small rock pools and a tiny island with the remains of a sunken ship. Discover the blue cave, carved out of the rocks by the waves. The waves that battered this coastal ridge over the years created an enchanting cave whose waters are an amazing shade of blue. Toward the end of the summer the dunes blossom with sea daffodils.
Entrance fee. Only 9 km from the center of Zichron Yaakov, just a few minutes by car.
