The best places to shop
The Wine Route, in the heart of the former moshava farming village, the restored pedestrian street Ha-Meyasdim Street and the farmers’ courtyards branching off from it are the most popular area among visitors to Zichron Yaakov, shopping lovers and good time aficionados, thanks to its unique atmosphere.
Start at Yishai Gate and browse through all the delightful brand name boutiques and local designer galleries, and when you’ve finished shopping you can sit down and rest at one of the coffee shops and restaurants nestling among the stores and down the alleys between the buildings. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover the courtyards that branch off the main street. They are all unique and different from one another. Each has its own special character and offers a different type of experience. The courtyards used to be the farmyards of the families whose houses faced the street. In the evenings some of the courtyards become lively pubs.
Hashmura – a small shopping center at the beginning of Hashmura St. At this center you will find consumer goods stores and various services – clothing, office supplies, a drugstore, post office, food, handicrafts, etc. There are also neighborhood coffee shops.
Mall Zichron – commercial center opposite the western entrance to the town.
This shopping center has a variety of stores, fashion chain branches, coffee shops and restaurants. There is also a movie theater.
