Nahsholim Beach
Nahsholim beach, like the other beaches in the area, is a wonderful combination of bays, little islands, and shallow pools. Enjoy the nature reserve, antiquities, seasonal blooms, and birds, including flamingos who come by to enjoy the nearby fish-farming ponds. The beach is neat and clean, at a short driving distance from Zichron Yaakov.
You can walk north, along the rugged coastline, and through the fish ponds, to Tel Dor that was populated back in the Canaanite period and was used as a port already 5,000 years ago. From there, you can continue to Dor Habonim Beach where you can admire the sandstone ridges, sandy bays, and caves that were formed by the waives. The reserve is adorned by beautiful bays, some laden with shells. Among the flowers endemic to the area are the Sand Lily, Evening Primrose, Tulips, Buttercups, and Daffodils.

In Kibbutz Nahsholim, near the beach, you can visit the HaMizgaga (the glassworks) Museum showcasing contemporary glass art alongside local archaeology.
